FAMILY COUNSELING

Family therapy is a type of counseling (psychotherapy) provided to help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts to help deepen family connections and get through stressful times. Family therapy is often short term. It may include all family members or just those who are able to participate. (All members are highly encouraged to participate).

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling is a collaborative process in which a unique, confidential, helping relationship is developed between a counselor and a willing client. In this process the counselor acts as a facilitator to help the client understand more accurately about him/herself and the world around them.  

 

GROUP COUNSELING

Group Counseling is a process where 4 -10 individuals meet weekly with a professional counselor (facilitator) to discuss and process specific issues. Group Counseling is designed to help build trusting relationships among members and to help each member feel safe to explore sensitive issues and resolve emotional difficulties.

PREPARE/ENRICH CURRICULUM:

The Prepare Enrich Program was created to help prepare couples for marriage and strengthen married couples.  The program will cultivate and create a safe environment for couples to talk more openly with each other.  There is an online assessment that identifies individual’s strength and growth areas.  The assessment is appropriate for couples that are dating, engaged or married.  The assessment covers 9 core scales such as: Communication, Conflict resolution, Partner Style & Habits, Financial Management, Leisure Activities, Sexual Expectations, Family & Friends, Relationship Roles and Spiritual.

THE SEVEN CHALLENGE SUBSTANCE ABUSE CURRICULUM

The Seven Challenges Program is designed for the adolescent population with drug problems, in an effort to motivate a decision and commitment to change and to support success in implementing the desired changes. The Seven Challenges is listed as an evidence-based program in the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION  

The clinical supervision process is intended to acquaint you with the structure of your post-graduate clinical experience and supervision toward licensure. Supervision is also an interactive process intended to monitor the quality of client care, improve clinical skills, and facilitate professional growth and development.

 

CONSULTING  

For advice and guidance, assessment, implementation, and development of special projects or other unique personal or professional needs, consulting services are available.

TRAINING  

A broad range of topics are provided through our agency to promote personal and professional development. All training topics can be customized to fit your specific needs and can range from motivational, inspirational, didactic, humorous or serious.
